The establishment of the definition of (fire)arm might seem to be a marginal question in Hungarian Criminal Law, especially that in the latest Criminal Codes of Hungary, there were and there are only a smaller number of crimes where (fire)arms have any relevance. However, it would be definitely worth a closer examination to see how its definition was established and has changed in the latest Criminal Codes, including the creation of the (fire)arm replicas and the newest, rather controversial amendment.
