Over the past one and a half year, one of the outstanding goals of the Editorship of Belügyi Szemle has been to monitor and adopt to the required international scientific standards during the development of the professional, scientific journal of the Ministry of Interior, and to appear on the international scientific palette. As a result, from 2 October 2020 and as a first step, the journal was included in the international database of ProQuest, an indexing organization in Michigan, which as the largest multidisciplinary database works with 39 databases, with a total of approximately 24,000 processed titles, of which 18,000 are available in full text. ProQuest Central focuses on the following disciplines: social sciences, business / economics, medicine, pedagogy, liberal arts and interdisciplinary fields and includes publications from Emerald, Elsevier, BMJ, The Economist, Nature Publishing Group, Cambridge University Press and Dow Jones, etc. From all this, it is clear that Belügyi Szemle has joined the most illustrious publishers.
