TRACKING ONLINE FRAUD - OPPORTUNITIES FOR EFFECTIVE LAW ENFORCEMENT

On 4 April 2024, the Department of Counter-Terrorism organised its next methodological lecture, which focused on the importance of recognising and dealing with deceptions in the online world.

Mária Mészáros, President of the Hungarian Section of the IPA and Dr. András Túrós, President of the Nationwide Civil Self-Defense Organizations signed a document on the extension of the cooperation agreement between the two organisations signed in 2010 on 5 April in the Council Chamber of the Hungarian Police.

"In the Service of the Homeland Conference - 2024" is an international conference organised by the Doctoral Students' Union of the University of Public Service.

The Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of the University of Miskolc, together with the Heidelberg University Law School, held an international conference in Miskolc at the beginning of March. The theme of the conference was climate and environmental protection. The participants sought to discuss the most topical issues not only from a legal perspective, but also from the perspective of other disciplines.

Wreck cutting, technical rescue, demonstrations and interactive tests were on offer at the Disaster Management Education Centre for the job fair and open day organised by the Disaster Management Service on 18 March. Interested students were given an insight into the work of the organisation.
