The Hungarian Prison Service Headquarters arranges a festive conference titled „20 years of Hungarian Prison Church Service”

The Hungarian Prison Service guarantees in its operation the gratification of spiritual life and needs based on it – freedom of thought, freedom of conscience and religion –as entitled in the Basic Law of Hungary. In the performance of this tasks, it considers the 20 years old Prison Church Service as its special partner. The contribution of the Church Service and the importance of the work within these frames appear in each section of goal settings for reintegration: beside providing the opportunity to practice religion and coordination of religious living, the church service provides directions, offers values, develops and educates – and that all has a wide positive effect on the reintegration chances of the captives.
