Review

Reviews will be published as usual in professional periodicals. Belügyi Szemle expects reviews of about 8-12.000 characters. Author(s) should try to use scientific interpretation and to formulate in plain language.

Please try to get a title page photo from the publisher of the reviewed work, which we would publish to call more attention. Bibliophilic data – author, editor compiler, etc, complete title. (series) place of publication: publisher, year, total page number– please indicate at the end of the text in brackets. Further are the same requirements valid for reviews as for papers.

Submission of manuscripts

As a monthly periodical Belügyi Szemle does not send page proofs to the authors but sends before reconciliation an edited version of the publication for checking, asking to overview and send back within two workdays. In case that there are only smaller corrections of linguistic correctness and stylistics needed not affecting the essential content of the message we set aside returning it to the author. In case that after the blind review the peer reviewer proposes a revision of the paper, the author will get attached to the edited version also the list of proposed corrections with an appropriate deadline set. In case of delayed return, the paper might be published with considerable delay. In case the message is corrected accordingly, it can be published.

Deadlines

Periodicals are planned to be published on the 15th of each month. Submission of manuscripts is ongoing. We ask our authors to take into consideration that publishing of submitted manuscripts needs 3-6 months with respect to year’s and half year’s publication schedules.

Eventual remarks, questions we await at the e-mail address: szerkesztoseg@belugyiszemle.hu .
